Earth Week Series: We are not the center of life

We are not the center of life. A perspective for Earth week that I think can help us raise our collective consciousness and come into alignment with life.

For a long time, humans believed that the Earth was the center of the universe.

Everything revolved around us.

Letting go of that belief wasn’t easy.

There was resistance. Even conflict.

But it changed how we understood reality.

Today, we may be facing a similar shift.

We are not the center of life.

We are surrounded with life all around us,

But we’ve become self-centered through our power.

“Two kinds of power in the world: power over Life and power of Life.”

True Human

We’ve built our world on power over life.

Over the Earth.

Over ecosystems.

Even over each other.

And yes, it’s created progress.

But it’s also created an imbalance and we feel it.

Because life doesn’t respond well to being controlled.

It responds to relationships.

Maybe this is the shift in front of us now,

Not seeing ourselves at the center,

but as participants in a much larger web of life.

What changes in how you live when you truly take that in?
