Is Life Happening To You or Through You

I created a life vision document many years ago which I now update every 3 years.

I read it on a weekly basis.

Why? Because it’s my compass.

• Not because it’s magic.

• Not because life suddenly gets easier.

But because investing the time to create a vision creates CLARITY.

Clarity creates direction, and direction shapes your experience of life.

Your Life Vision is a literal declaration of what you desire in your life.

Here’s the truth most people don’t realize:

As children, imagination was effortless.

• It flowed.

• It was inspiring.

• It created worlds.

But as adults?

• We trade imagination for “realism.”

• We shrink our dreams to fit our fears.

• We stop seeing what’s possible… and start settling for what’s predictable.

  
  

Most people fall into one of three groups:

1. Those who won’t imagine at all - because they fear disappointment or think it’s just wishful thinking.

2. Those who imagine but settle - because their inner critic gets louder than their desire.

3. And the rare few who envision clearly… and commit fully - until their vision becomes their reality.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

Imagination isn’t childish. It’s the beginning of every breakthrough.

Everything created in the World today began with someone’s imagination.

Enlightened beings will tell you that this world itself is the imagination of God.

So why then do we hesitate to imagine a future for ourselves?

It’s simple - it’s FEAR holding you back. Keeping you “safe”.

When you become clear on:

• the life you truly desire across career, money, relationship, social life etc

• the person you’re becoming,

• and the contribution you want to make…

Something magical happens…

…your mind, energy, and actions begin to move in alignment.

Life begins to flow.

Decisions become easier.

Opportunities arise.

Momentum builds.

This isn’t “woo-woo.” It’s coherence - the alignment of your thoughts, emotions, and actions toward a unified vision.

And it is POWERFUL!

Too many of us stay logical and limit what’s possible.

But imagination is what allows you to see beyond today… into the life that’s waiting for you.

A life with more joy.

More meaning.

More alignment.

More you.
