A long time wish was fulfilled this past weekend after seeing Sadhguru in person and experiencing his ‘Ecstacy of Enlightenment’ program. The meditations he led were deeply emotional and truly soul cleansing experiences. Deep inner experiences that shift your ‘way of being’ cannot be captured in words. Though I will say that anybody who resonates with his “no bull$h!t” approach to spiritual growth will truly enjoy this opportunity.
That said, there are a few lessons that all of us will benefit from. In that spirit, here’s a few key takeaways from the experience:
-We must fall in love with life and awaken to the life we have. Life, encompassing all forms of life on this planet, not just human life, is the most precious happening in the known cosmos. We must awaken to that fact and treat our life, our planet and our fellow beings with love and reverence.
-Most people are suffering from an unreconciled memory or poor imagination. We must address this gap in human ability to use our brains wisely.
-All the negative emotions we experience are made up in our head. Fear, Anger, Stress, Hatred, Jealousy do not serve our highest expression yet most people continue to entertain these unconsciously.
-What isn’t familiar becomes strange for most people. If everything was already present in your memory or experience, how will we experience LIFE?
-Leave no doubt that machines + AI will do everything better than us today, especially if your job is to make sense of data. Start imagining the future you would like to create with the help of machines, not become victims of this profound change.
-Give up your desire to become better than someone else and 70-80% of your spiritual work is done. Be inspired from their example, not to compete but to transform and become the best version of yourself!
Allow these takeaways to really sync in and shift something within you. Enjoy the journey of becoming your highest expression in this life!
